Quick Thoughts
I understand that Roger Goodell wants to hold NFL coaches and executives to a higher standard than the players. Still, I don’t completely understand or even agree with his decision to suspend Cowboys quarterback coach, Wade Wilson, for 5 games versus suspending Rodney Harrison 4 games for using HGH.
I’m not terribly surprised that the Wolverines fell out of the Top 25. After losing to a Division II team they pretty much deserve it. I am surprised at the number of people calling for head coach Lloyd Carr’s job. Granted, it was a bad and embarrassing loss. Still, it was bound to happen one day. It was just unfortunate it happened in the Big House.
I find it amazing how quickly the referee scandal has evaporated from the headlines. Personally, I believe that there are others, possibly some players too. I have to hand it to David Stern and his PR machine.
Speaking of the NBA, this season has to be Championship, or at least Finals, or bust for the Boston Celtics. They are trying their best to buy a ring.
I don’t know why but I just have this feeling that Evander Holyfield is going to be a Heavyweight Champion again. It’s a real scary thought and it just goes to show how pathetic the Heavyweight division is.
I am though anxiously awaiting the rematch between Pacquiao and Barrera. This fight should be a classic.
Do you think that the Los Angeles Galaxy and MLS are regretting their decision to dole out so much money to David Beckham?
How about the Yankees and their decision to bring back Roger Clemens?
The Wizard has spoken.
